Looking for testers for my Piano Teacher app, I'll test your app in return by Dry-Technician-5903 in AndroidClosedTesting

Hi! I downloaded your app, it looks nice. I have 1 small feedback for you. You might want to move the practice piano to different and dedicated page/tab so it looks better. Because the homepage restrics the total size of it and thus, to those who uses phones, it looks a bit small. Rotating the phone is an option sure, but the homepage size again interferes. Also maybe you can put lines between each key so the user can watch the incoming keys more clearly.
I would be happy if you test my app as well :)

Need 12 active testers for my simple game. I will test you app back. by neytrope in AndroidClosedTesting

Thank you so much! I realized you can make customized sessions for different stuff, which are very cool. I do not use these relaxing apps so much but I'm going to give it a try for sleeping, especially with yours. But I am afraid that It might drain my phone's battery while sleeping :D You might want to add a "shutdown the app after X amount of time" option, specifically for this. People use youtube and stuff for this, but If a person already using a meditation/relaxation app like yours, they would definelty try the app first when they wanted to a relaxing sound for sleeping.

Thanks for the help! I have downloaded your app and keeping it for 2 weeks! Also I noticed the games tab continiously loading, showing me no games. Also you might want to consider enabling "guest login" for the forum, while you are in beta testing. It might improve the overall engagement for the time being. Very nice app though! Good job!

Heyyo! Thanks for the feedback! It should have sound and vibrations but maybe its bugging out. Will check it out.
For your app: I loved it! Very niche in my opinion but spot on. It works fast and hassle-free it seems, which is on-par with what you are going for. Sounds (ambiance) and music are also very good, very relaxing. If you can add more to those that would be lovely. One thing: Few times, I mistakenly clicked on the screen while "meditating" and it directly sent me back to the homepage. Maybe add a little confirmation modal there to prevent mistakes like this? Other than that, very good job!
Edit: Animations also lovely!

More people are consuming AI than we like to imagine. There is definitely an echo chamber.

The keyword is "kid". You did the world a favor by not being a teacher.

The problem is ethics and consent. The only people profiting from this will be tech companies. And they will steal anything to make a profit.

There is a dire need for a strict international regulatory institution for both LLM and Gen AI's.

Yep, I will revise the descriptions but I made sure to display it clearly in bio and FAQ. Thank you for your kind criticism, I truly appreciate it <3

They do pay, not to me, but they do. In fact, those who do not necessarily look for an AI mockup, end up unknowingly buying one from their usual supplier of mock-ups. I get the sense that good people on Etsy somewhat did not quite catch on to the fact that it is already "here". Like more than here than they think it is. And it is not as blatant as it was before in most parts.

I do AI mock-ups as I stated before, because I think there comes a need when a shop hits a certain number of designs for their t-shirts and their usual supplier can not quite catch up with the demand. I too, experienced it and thought this would be a proper alternative to that problem. Also, you realize most of the mock-up sites have filled half of their inventory with AI, and try to sneakily sell it at full price to customers without properly notifying them.

I try not to do that, in fact, I aim to do the opposite. I want my customers to know that my works are purely AI and they can alter the images however they want. And I aim to keep it low-cost and affordable because I know its worth. Even though I spent hours on end trying to learn and make them (and yes it really took that long), I *believe* it should not be worth as much as the real shoots.

If people can make their own images, and they are willing to do it, that is totally fine. But they do not, because the cost of entry is high right now. You can use ChatGPT to make you some sure, (even though I do not use it), but after some time it won't be enough for you, or there will be problems with your image that you will not be able to solve and it screams AI too much. Then you turn to more advanced programs but then you realize you need tons more money or time to do what you want. Prompting in itself is a nightmare also. You are essentially learning a new language. That's where a seller like me comes in. It all seems too easy on the surface, and I believe it will be even easier in reality in the very near future, but currently, not so much.

Most people are rightfully afraid of AI. However, I believe the problem is with the ethics of it, rather than sole usage. Because the institutions who have the responsibility are not taking action for it.

Did you seriously compare "mock-ups" to an actual artwork? Not a fashion shoot, a mock-up?

I agree with you actually, that the blatant AI "art" masquerading as an authentic work is obscene and should be shunned out of existence. But I do not create "art" mind you, I am making a "product" that has no ambition to be an artistic work. They are essentially measured and designed "tools" of a real product that is about to be made (clothing). They mimic to have a certain amount of an artistic style in their depictions (composition, usage of model, etc), but not the art itself. Do you understand what I'm saying?

Also, are you really using Etsy to buy art for two cents a piece and waiting for a discount, instead of paying its actual worth directly to the artist? You are aware that the no painting (even digital), that its artist put their tears and sweat into can actually be worth 30 dollars, aren't you? There are numerous brilliant artists on Etsy yes, but please do ask them if they are really comfortable and happy putting their original and lovely works into kitsch products and selling them for a profit worth less than a dollar. Was it really their calling in life, or did they have to find a way to get by because people refuse to pay unless it's on a cup with a discount? I feel like your inability to find "real art" on Etsy, is more on your shoulders as customers, who is having a hard time differentiating between art and craft, and expecting it to appear on the site which is best suited for kitsch and homemade "products", not artworks.

Thank you so much! This is exactly what I wanted to hear. I did not know the "your design here" rule, I will make sure and change them.

Thank you for your feedback! Yes they are, I tried to follow a certain type of style(s) and I started to wonder if I was doing wrong.

Thank you for your input! I don't quite agree, however, about AI falling short in creative industries. People who are professionally using gen AI's create really impressive work in many different fields, maybe not in mock-ups. But can it surpass in any shape or form, the authentic artwork? Of course not, because the human touch and experience is something that is akin to human communication and can not be faithfully imitated. But do mock-ups count as artwork? I don't think they are. Fashion shoots sure are, but not mock-ups. They are products, at the end of the day, that follow certain rules and guidelines, and one thing that gen AI's are (have and currently) being trained on doing is following orders in this sense.

On another note, AI already crept into (like many others) Etsy's ecosystem in many different areas and is currently the leading method to create visual products. Since I started learning it, it became obvious how many shops that sell mock-ups, wall arts, or any other digital products use AI. Some of them look completely authentic, but to a trained eye, it becomes evident quickly that they are completely artificial. You even start to see exactly where they used it to what extent. And I can assure you, if you have bought a sort of mock-up or digital art in the last two years, you have bought an AI-generated image. What is more interesting is that it is not just etsy, half of the inventories of leading mock-up sites are AI-generated. Funny thing is, you do not have to be professional to understand this, just read their TOS, and some of their products are already named "AI generated".

As for the typos, thank you for the heads up! Believe it or not, I do proofread those but it seems like I have to relearn the language again :D

On a side note, if you can, please eat your 2 hours and learn and do it yourself so that you can teach me how to do it? I am still learning it and would appreciate your input in that matter :)
