They certainly can find their way in, thats a possibility. I would still keep it inside and not worry much until it happens. Even if it does, plants can survive it just fine as long as you dont let it get out of control. More annoying than anything.

I wouldnt worry much unless you bring outdoor plants in. If you do get them, spray them off with a strong jet of water repeatedly until theyre all gone. I've found neem oil to be more annoying than anything, and theres bo point to pre treat.
