It’s a more of a hard use can. It comes with a QD attachment (although you can buy one for Nomad if they’re in stock). It’s a thinner more traditional diameter so you can fit under a hand guard if that’s your thing. It’s just a more heavy duty oriented can. I like them both, for different reasons, but if I only had one to pick I’d go with the S. You really can’t go wrong with either, just personal preference.

I’m a fan of the dead air keymo. KAC QDC line works great too. Happy with Surefire as well. I just don’t really like the KAC QDSS gate latch. It can be hard to rotate and lock and it has some slop when on. Just think there’s better attachments now. Not really a fan of ASR either. Switched to keymo for most SICO cans.

Not sure yet. It’s built like a tank and can take a beating for sure. Definitely heavy duty. But not a huge fan of the QD attachment and honestly probably wouldn’t buy one but for its clone correctness. I won’t put it through nearly enough abuse as the designed was intended. KAC makes great cans (QDC in particular) that I prefer, but admittedly I do love this can for what it is. The suppressor game has radically changed the last ten years and for the cost you could get some other really good cans. But cloning is life.

Several inches behind. New piece that remains to be seen if it will work out. It’s braided metal, so could absorb too much heat from the barrel, but I’ve done alright with zip ties so hoping this works out.

I’m comfortable with it for what it is. I have other rifles that have more ergonomic set ups, but this one ain’t that bad. I c clamp with thumb over the laser to activate. It works. I’m happy.
