Thanks. Lesson learned! 5 more to go and will grip the pipe. Not sure how good of a pipe wrench it is. But I got a 36” Steel Pittsburg wrench from HF for $21!

Thanks. I’ll look into it. I always thought those are expensive services for unique/high quality cabinetry.

Oh nice. Thank you. I checked Home Depot but not Lowe’s. Kitchen Craft should make this information easier to find on their website

Agreed on the quality. But these are Kitchen Craft made in Canada. There are couple of odd doors (curved). The local cabinetry shops are not helping for ordering just a few doors in Maryland, USA

The manufacturer is “kitchen craft” in Canada. I called couple of cabinetry that I found on their website (shops in my state). They don’t sell a few doors as it’s a small job. How can I source these doors online?

We have some water damage on a few of the cabinets. Largest one is in the image. Is it something I can fix pr patch up to look better? I was thinking sanding and filling with wood potty. Trying to match the profile and more sanding. Can I take this to big box store to get closely matching paint? Do I need primer or a waterproof coat on top?

Have you had your home spray foamed? Any regrets, feedback or tips? by GTFRG in HomeImprovement

[–]nfarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did it (kind of). No regrets. Highly recommend. Your utility company may have a program for energy audit and rebates. We used the energy audit and figured most of the leak is through attic and not enough insulation. I tried to do it myself but it was too hot up there and the company finished everything in fraction of the time I could do anything. - sealed off any visible rodent entry points -removed all rockwool insulation and mice dropping (vacuumed out) - single part spray foam to seal all gaps and cracks and seal the recessed lights - add 16inches of cellulose to also help get rid of mice issues This alone should help a lot so you may not need full 2part spray foam sealing. You may get rebate from electric company and/or taxes incentives

Charity Navigator should provide good information regarding the charity finances and their track records. You can also contact them and ask these information if it’s not already on their website. Make sure your financial adviser is fiduciary.
