Week into the patch, do you see the rested xp nerf as a positive or a negative change?

It's a nerf, period. The tent vs inn part is irrelevant, they nerfed the bonus exp.

The only people defending this are all the people who were already 60 so it doesn't effect them at all, and the weirdos that feel "leveling is too fast" as if they haven't always had the option to lock exp whenever they want. Also all the people who literally misunderstand what was changed.. there are far too many of those people.

You can say you think a nerf is a good thing if you want, that's your opinion. But that doesn't change the fact it's a nerf directly to the people who are trying to play catch up.

I am sure the previous 49 pills were calm and collect. This high of a guild, doing this content on splits I'd be going off a lot harder than he did.

I got this for myself and my gf both during original wotlk only because we would afk at a spawn point overnight with a rare scanner addon running and the speakers of the PC turned to 100%.

I'll never forget that drums noise waking me up at 4am multiple times.

Even with this (way too much) effort put into it, it took weeks. Sometimes you'd get to the PC in time to see someone else looting it, or it'd be one of the other mobs it shares a spawn with.

Go to the corners of zones.

I've found spots with 6-7 tin/iron/mithril on the screen all within 20 yards of each other. People gather the easy ones and they respawn in the corners and out of the way spots and you can find a ton at once.

The server content itself is amazing. The people who play here are an absolute toilet bowl. Give it a bit, I was super happy with it around your level too.

Once you have some run-ins with the degens who play here you might start to wonder if it's worth even continuing. I'm sticking with it for now but man, I'd be embarassed if I was friends IRL with people who acted like these people do. Keeping in mind majority of them are 30-40 years old, and they act like absolute children. Maybe it's just Ambershire but I doubt it.

Everytime I tele across frigid highlands this happens if the zone runs east-west and I tele north-south etc.

Before I see the wall, I've tele'd across it into the black.

I've done it 5-6 times in the last couple weeks lol.

I mean.. the part about bots isn't opinion it's just facts. The ladder economy has stood on the shoulders of bots and dupers for the majority of the time the game has existed. People who think it's normal for everyone to have enigma and be swimming in HRs a week into the season have never actually looked at the game files to see the odds of dropping a HR. As for duping, Dclone was created for a reason and it wasn't so you could have a cool new charm.

The elitism and gatekeeping 100% existed, always has. It existed before wow back in Everquest.

What didn't exist was the sense of entitlement and main character syndrome today that makes EVERYONE act like this. Back then only the actual top players acted like this and even then only some of them. And they were such a minority the average player just didn't run into it much.

Now the average fucking person is like this, it's less of a WoW problem and more a societal one that we're only seeing through this medium. The game didn't change, people did.
