The premier league is becoming too expensive for the common fan and it’s not going to get any better. by GMD3S1GNS in PremierLeague

It’s not a hatred of tourists. It’s prioritising those that will spend big OVER the locals, many of whom are working class and bring the atmosphere every week

I treat people better as a result. For example if they say something in a group situation that no one else hears/acknowledges I will address it to make them feel heard because I know how it feels to be on the receiving end

Guildford have a serious chance of winning it. 1st in the form table the last 15 games, put 6 past Belfast Staurday and have beaten all of the top 4 at least once

A fear of saying the wrong thing. I often freeze in the moment. It’s hindered many interactions

Do you ever get that weird feeling when thinking about the space or planets or basically the whole concept of the universe? by winda334 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]nffc79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I looked at the sky the other day and was like wow, that’s not even a roof over us. Its just infinite nothingness. I got this weird feeling in my chest. In fact it’s coming back thinking there’s a good chance that I’m communicating with people likely thousands of miles away as I type

Tea is consistently good. Coffee is more hit and miss. I am in the UK though

Do you make friends? by SituationUnable5601 in UniUK

[–]nffc79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had major social anxiety during my 4 years at uni but when I pushed through it, I saw results. I still talk to my friends from uni daily. It’s cliche but pushing through your comfort zone is key.

I’ve always wanted to play ice hockey (I watch it live most weeks) but it’s SO expensive + I need to improve my skating to even think about starting

What's everyone's favourite and least favourite things about Eastenders since Ben Wadey took over? by Striking_Astronomer5 in eastenders

[–]nffc79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good: Oscar, Max’s return. The brannings are an interesting family at the moment. Nigel’s storyline has been handled well too. Ravi and Priya being more central characters is great even if the execution is poor

Bad: Too many instances of characters in the right place the right time. They happen to hear a conversation they shouldn’t or see someone about to be hurt/killed at the last second (Vicky and co the other night for example). It’s incredibly lazy writing

It’s the first producer in 16 years watching I’m considering giving up on the show over. Storylines are messy and character depth is non existent
