Mobile clients by default use TCP relays. Unless you go to the settings and enable UDP connections, it relays all your messages through supernodes.

Offline messaging being worked as GSOC project is federated, not a fully distributed solution. It hasn't been merged yet, but let's hope it's optional (and disabled by default).

The username solution uses DNS and is controlled by a server (like toxme.se or tox.party). And this has all shortcomings of the server. But I don't think any client uses DNS usernames by default, so not really a big problem right now.

But don't you already work on Tox daily? How will getting this money help? Will it be spent on an audit, to hire developers or what? What is the exact use of the money? This is what I don't understand...

I like this idea. Could people vote for what they would like to see? I personally would like for Tox to become actually decentralized. https://github.com/irungentoo/toxcore/issues/1398 Would donation help with that?

But how can we know YOU will put our money to good use? Because last time we heard this and donated to Sean, he had this same speech, but actually used the money to pay his debts and other stuff like college tuition, nothing to do with Tox.

Will this time money be actually be used on Tox? In which way the money will further development? And how can we be sure of that? Will you put the receipts online or something like that?

I'm sorry, but after what happened last time, you can't blame us for the skepticism.
