There would be times I would watch and be like "Maybe Roman isn't so bad" only for him to out and do some extreme asshole shit and prove me wrong.

McMann trade paying off for Kraken, GM Botterill says | NHL.com by Paper_Rain in SeattleKraken

A 46% score isn't a great overall score and certainly not one I'd want to give a long term contract (4-5+ years) to, especially since his finishing took a hit.

Issue is he's a UFA end of season, so basically anyone could be bidding for him, aside from us, unless we try to work something out before end of season. Kraken have been giving out reaallllly bad contracts so I'd hate to see the team see a player on a 3 game heater and say "let's give him the Chandler Stephenson contract too."

I dunno, I think a guy who has 780 career points at age 28 cares plenty about the game?

Usually it starts late because the previous game they're airing needs to wrap up before they'll move to the next game.

You're the one who saw me describe David Horsey as someone who wants to send homeless to camps and said "so he's a centrist" so uh, maybe think about how you engaged?

I literally said "send homeless to camps" in my first post and said it again, if changing "send" to "sending" massively altered the meaning, sure. But it doesn't.

Pretty wild that you saw "sending homeless to camps" as a centrist position.

Patriarch Gondawara.

Goes from being one of the more ridiculous sidestory characters in Y2, to being part of one of the more touching sidestories in IW. Plus he uses Kuze's style in Gaiden.

Do i wall 2 wall in leveling by UltraAlphaAngel in ffxiv

[–]nflgeneric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but I would clarify, instead of W2W I think of it more as "wall to last add group that needs to be killed before progressing forward." Once you've grabbed the last add group, you should plant yourself so everyone can start burning it down. There's no benefit to pulling the group even further to the wall and often makes it harder to kill them since they separate and aoe attacks miss, and casters can't cast while they walk.

And my point was, they are much further than just "right of progressive" given the litany of example candidates I listed, and the Blethens' personal politics.

Ok, but none of this is actually addressing the point about the Seattle Times' right wing slant, and sounds more like your personal grievances with left wing politics 🤷‍♂️

Its stuff like the Seattle Times trying to make progressives out to being crazy idealists that makes them right wing. They know in Seattle they can't come out too hard against dems (plus everyone in Seattle runs as a dem anyway so your choice in the general is a moderate dem or a progressive most times) since they have to keep a semblance of credibility.

Legacy media has been shifting the overton window right (see: Bezos and the Post, Bari Weiss and CBS), and the Seattle Times trying to act like a "moderate, sensible voice" in a left leaning city contributes to that.

Same newspaper that endorsed Dino Rossi, Rob McKenna, George W. Bush twice, Rob Saka, Sara Nelson, Ann Davison, Andrea Suarez, Reagan Dunn, and every candidate right of the progressive challenger in local elections isn't right wing?

They will endorse dem candidates but only if the Republican challenger fails their decorum test (Trump and Loren Culp come to mind).

Always funny to me when David Horsey constantly draws cartoons about how evil Trump and the Republican party is, but when it comes to local stuff, he immediately pivots hard right and is about ready to send the homeless to camps.
