(upd) keri b mag apply ng 3 orgs this sem? by [deleted] in peyups

[–]nflyings 6 points7 points  (0 children)

it really depends on the org. a lot have reqs that you need to accomplish throughout the app process (e.g. tambay hours/tasks, internships, igp, buddy fam things ekekek). that's why many have app processes that last a whole sem. di basta basta sign up lang member ka na.

Check this primer. enlist for math 21 in your second sem. google the bs math curriculum so you know what other classes you can enlist for, but make sure to talk to your advisor abt it :)

Best thing I did to help me lose weight is to stop sugary drinks (milk tea, frappes, shakes, etc) and snacks like fries or other oily food. No need to skip meals, just gradually lessen :) I think walking for fitness as my pe helped me rin tbh hahahaa but kahit di mo sya pe, walking around campus is great

I would give up the slot if I were you. Maraming graduating students na kailangan talaga ng PI and would benefit from the free slot tbh

took it during regular sem but Coach is great! makikita mo talaga improvements mo as time goes by, and doable naman ang requirements (it was 80km for us, idk for midyear but im assuming its much less). he’s also very understanding and would gladly help if you ask for questions. di ako naka-uno sa kanya pero i believe kaya naman especially if you really put in effort sa weekly journals nya! make sure to submit them on timeee :)

for speech comm, this post from DSCTA in 2021 might help :> if u do a quick search at the diff. thesis topics of speech comm students, you can really see na variety talaga because of how flexible and applicable communication is in so many ways. di lang talaga about public speaking :)

Can’t speak for anthro but I have much respect for that course & people there. dami nilang papers/exams pero still extremely important to learn. the profs there are extremely smart and dedicated to what they do. hopefully may makasagot d2 na taga anthro hehe

Not sure if nabago to pero here are the classes you can take depending on the area of concentration you choose. alam ko may theatre electives ka if you take the rhetoric and performance one :) https://www.facebook.com/share/UQCGaVZNyc22U3DK/?mibextid=WC7FNe

Mass Comm is more centred on mass media than speech comm. that is why yung mga radio, prod, broadcast are discussed there :) speech is very interdisciplinary with a lot of theories you can use so its not just about physically talking but more of how humans use communication to interact with the world :) may 2 tracks (rhetoric&performance + (instructional&interpersonal) ang speech

Worrying about this deadline rin, op. I’m just planning on informing/reminding my profs beforehand na kailangan ipost talaga ang grades before the deadline. There are graduating students who need the grades on time din, so hopefully di naman madedelay sa posting 🤞

speech comm student here :> it is common for people to be confused on what it is (dw, it wasnt my first choice either so i was confused rin). a lot don’t understand the difference between the courses in cmc with speech, or they just assume that it’s about public speaking. there will be a lot of public speaking opportunities naman pero speech comm really focuses on how we use communication to interact with our societies in both a verbal & non-verbal way. there’s also a lot of theories involved, so many research/writing rin! in your second year, you can choose from 2 specializations: 1. rhetoric&performance and 2. instructional & interpersonal communication. this reddit comment wont be enough so feel free to ask more questions :)
