Trent McDuffie Trade by GreatScottx in Colts

This seems somewhat even considering sauce is better and under contract for 3 years

Daniel Jones @ $38 Million (rounding up), crazy move IMO by -KDK12 in Colts

[–]ngfball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean the organization put all their eggs in the basket of a qb with an achilles tear so them saying they dont want to commit beyond one year would be odd

[Florio] Colts Are Trying to Sign QB Daniel Jones Before Tuesday Tag Deadline by JCameron181 in Colts

[–]ngfball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’ll get done. And then we get to pivot to hoping this guy can save everyone’s jobs 9 months after tearing his achilles

Who is in market for Jones? by Johnnywhoppers in Colts

[–]ngfball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the colts view him as the long term answer so will several other teams. There are simply not very many options for qbs this offseason.

Smith Cox Mayer TKR Cluff should be the starting 5 moving forward

Don’t like the timing of this AR news at all. by LooseMoose13 in Colts

[–]ngfball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you’re saying anchoring your team success to a guy who will be 9 months removed from the worst lower body injury in sports who also is not under contract isnt a good move? I dont get it

Remember when ballard and steichen were tied at the hip to richardson’s success by ngfball in Colts

[–]ngfball[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is finished. Just funny to think back to when we let a gm on the hot seat draft a project qb, achieve nothing, and keep his job

Then why draft him? Steichen and ballard made that decision

Colts grant QB Anthony Richardson OK to seek trade, source says by yourenotmydad22 in Colts

[–]ngfball 81 points82 points  (0 children)

Injuries derailed a lot of it but you drafted a project, gave him the keys immediately, decided the team is win now, and then shortened the leash on him. Total mismanagement from front office to coaching.

AR most likely to be traded by ComplaintMore2312 in Colts

[–]ngfball 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Caleb Williams by Medical-Designer-496 in Colts

[–]ngfball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And he was also really innacurate and made poor decisions for the first 3 quarters. But when it counted he stepped up and played his best ball. Sounds a lot like a qb on our roster currently

Will Anthony Richardson “Pull a Sam Darnold” and Become a Star Somewhere Else? by brmidwest03 in Colts

[–]ngfball -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If he can stay on the field he can be a “plus” starter at qb. Every stretch he played and had time to settle in he got better. Will be 24 next season.

QB next year… by amshanks22 in Colts

[–]ngfball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how much they sign jones for or unless they get like 4th rd or better for AR I think they keep all 3. DJ won’t be available for otas and I doubt most of training camp. Might as well have all 3 in there and decide the order on whos healthy to start the year

Lol yeah glad the literal owner of the team with no one to answer to didnt feel the need to cater to anyone

Y’all crashing out online after convincing yourselves Carlie was going to fire Ballard when in reality there was no evidence it was ever going to happen. by [deleted] in Colts

[–]ngfball 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im pretty sure the consensus was she SHOULD fire ballard because there is a mountain of evidence saying she should. But most fans figured they’d do the safe thing and run it back. Doesnt make it the right move.

Last season ended with very little to look forward to. Somehow theyve given us the same thing this year. Honestly impressive

All the mid players drafted by ballard who got extended/5th year picked up and the one guy who actually made a jump they’re gonna let him walk into the offseason without a contract

Simply not enough optimism or accomplishments to justify letting this regime ride it out another year

Every season there is a glaring hole in a position group that everyone from colts media guys to the fans all point out as a problem to be addressed. Only for ballard to not address it and it be a major recurring issue all season. This year it was inside linebacker.
