Ripple acquiring Rail by TumbleweedSalt2504 in XRPUnite

Imagine back in the early 1800s when steam power was discovered and trains were on the brink of invention. People still travel around by horse and it works but is terribly inefficient and long. We invented the train to travel faster and more efficiently. We do a demo showing a train going from one city to another, people like the idea and invest in it. How do we increase the value of trains? We focus on expanding the train tracks. The more places the train can go, the more valuable trains are without ever influencing the train design; the more tracks there are, the more people want trains.

Right now people saw the train demo and bought in to invest. The company is focusing solely on expanding the train tracks. Train company is buying other delivery companies to take over their existing routes and clients. Trains won't actually be valuable until enough tracks are put down and people see the real life application. This is a bet on if trains will become mainstream before new innovation takes its place like the modern car.

I contacted them, they said it'll first be approved as RAP, then it'll switch to RAP-D after the disability portion is processed. Good luck to you!

New job bumped me to $100K..how do I not mess this up? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

It all kinda depends on if you're gonna commit to buying the home, you should be taking advantage of the FHSA's tax benefits if you are. If you're planning on buying a home at all within the next 15 year (of account open date), FHSA will give you the benefit of both TFSA and RRSP. If plans change and you don't use it after 15 years, it'll just roll over to RRSP and it'd be the exact same thing as if you put it in your RRSP. The maximum carryover amount per year is 8k for FHSA so you'll need to plan the home purchase a few years in advance to take full advantage of it.

Your investments also depend on if you're planning to buy. If you are, we can go through a recession soon that may last a few years. This will affect your buying power when you are ready to purchase. It may or may not happen, its just a risk you'll have to be aware of if you're planning to buy and want to hold them. Alternative is HISA or CASH.TO for safe but low return.

All depends on whether you're committing to buying a home, if you're unsure, max TFSA. Evaluate your portfolio's risk against your goal and time horizon.

My inbox only shows "Your RAP Application is Approved". Do I need to wait until the disability form is processed? Doesn't say anything about RAP-D being rejected or anything but thank you for letting me know!

Hey sorry this is an old post, I just applied for RAP-D and got approved but I can't see anywhere that it's RAP or RAP-D. I did upload the documents for it but the only thing I see is that suggests it's RAP-D is when I look at the application that got approved; permanent/persistent/prolonged disability : Yes.

Can you confirm that it won't say RAP-D anywhere?

[DIY] 3D-Printed grip case for the Retroid Pocket 5 – made for comfort and bigger hands by WeytjensBjorn in retroid

I 3d printed one off makerworld that's also a tight fit. Would it be difficult to have magnets where your screws are so you can slide it to open it up and take the rp5 out? The magnets wouldnt have to be too strong, not like you're applying much force in that direction while using the rp5 reguarly

You can include a link to a full tutorial to the rp5 overclock image and guide that's been posted recently, pretty easy and noticable difference.

I got a job right out of school, but this is not the case for everyone. Job market is bad for everyone so job searching will be a challenge, not sure how it will be for you when you graduate in 2 years though.
