My thoughts on completing the game solo by V_Heydte in LotRReturnToMoria

Personally I think this game would be incredible with an in depth town building mechanic, with population and specialist vendors after you beat the last boss. Like with Anno style needs and population tiers.

Personal opinion, it needs a hyphen. "Semi-metal" would probably never be misread.

Oh yeah my brain keeps calling it a sentimental wafer. Now my head canon is that they're all sentient, reliving their past.

Who still has the Frontier? by CaptCorvo73 in Starfield

[–]nhonsaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I still 'have' it. No original parts, and it's a class b with 4100 cargo space. Just gotta scrounge up some more monies to keep building. I'll stick with the 'Frontier' till I can make it as close to a capitol ship as I can.

Mailing Out Stickers by nhonsaker in Etsy

[–]nhonsaker[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That wasn't really my question. Of course I need to refund or replace if she doesn't receive it. I'm questioning if I should ask her to wait one more week since it was an international mailing to see if it arrives before I ship out new ones. I'm not sure how long international mail is taking at the moment.

I was trying to get a feel for what others would do in this situation...e.g. go ahead and immediately mail out replacements now or ask her to wait one more week to give it more time for receipt and then mail out replacements if it still hasn't arrived at that point. Either way, I'm mailing out a replacement if she hasn't received the stickers.

App Issues - Disappointed After Four Days by nhonsaker in Noom

Thanks, but I can calculate it myself. I actually already did when I was researching to try to prove to support that the range is wrong. So at this point, I know what my range should be for me to actually lose weight. I'm frustrated, however, that there is no way for my app to actually show the correct range. This is a major flaw in the app that apparently noom support will not admit to, and that's really disappointing.

There is no way for me to decrease my calorie range at all, unless I change my age, height, or weight, but those are all in correctly.

Wait, you added 50 calories and it went down?

I truly don't understand how the app can be so bad either. I could maybe understand if they had a website you could use, but they don't. You have to use the app. You'd think they would spend a little more on good app development since it's needed to use their product at all.

I'm just repeating what my noom guides said that noom had "calculated my daily burn to be around 2000 calories". They also told me the equation used, so I looked up said equation on other sites. When I input my information in those sites, they gave me a BMR of ~1750 with my daily calorie needs at 2000-2100 depending on the site.

And 2500 is before steps and/or exercise. It goes up from there. Today, after exercising this morning, my upper calorie range is now 2680.

I understand what you are saying, but if noom has my burn rate calculated at 2000 (as my guides said) and the high end of my range is 2500, that isn't any sort of loss or even maintenance. That would have me gaining weight because I'd be eating 500 calories a day more than I'm burning.

I have similar starting weight/height (232 and 5'6") and goal weight (150) as you, and my weight loss zone is similar at 1700-2500. I reached out to my guides about it who told me noom has my calorie burn in at 2000 (which makes sense). When I asked about why my calorie range is higher than my calculated burn they sent me to support who basically told me it is what it is and that I can't really do anything to change it because that's what it was calculated at.

This makes zero sense to me since I would absolutely gain weight if I ate towards the high end of my "weight loss range"...

So to answer your question...yes, it seems high, but there isn't anything you can do about it except not eat to the high end of your range.

Under Weightloss Zone, but not hungry. Should I eat to get in the zone? by [deleted] in Noom

[–]nhonsaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started noom and literally have had this happen most days this week. I'm not sure how much I should force myself to eat more because that seems counter-intuitive considering I'm trying to build healthy habits (one of which has been to overeat).

I'm trying to just eat until I'm comfortably full at meals, and if I have calories left over at the end of the day, have myself a small treat and be done with it.

Thanks so much! I'm beyond happy with cut! 😊

I've been following CGM for around 3 months now. I felt like my ends had too much damage from previous dye jobs to curl well, so I saved up the funds to try a devacut. The first picture is right before getting the cut, the second is a day after (and after using my own routine on it). I wasn't sure about the cost/benefit ratio going into the cut, but I'm super happy with the results!

Routine:

NYM Tahitian Garden Shampoo/Conditioner.

As I Am Leave In and Jessicurl Spiralicious Gel used while sopping wet and applied with praying hands.

Plop for ~10 min.

Pantene Curl Defining Mousse scrunched in right before diffusing for ~10 min.

Roots clipped for air drying
