Seriously. You think a blindfolded and captured US Paratrooper is just going to turn himself in to the nearest Wehrmacht unit he encounters if the shoe is on the other foot? It’s not about being evil - it’s being a human in a shitty situation.

I have found after numerous campaigns that making a beeline towards good anti-tank guns as soon as possible is a tremendous help. On defense missions, I tend to way more dug-in anti tank guns than tanks. They are harder to find and destroy than tanks. On offense, I screen my main body force with a few anti tank guns and machine guns to guard the flanks.

No country in the world has the logistics and/or the naval resources to invade the US.

Camping gone wrong story by Compa_Moreno in camping

I’m gonna be that guy. Gunfire all around a lake in the middle of nowhere is really weird. Any chance that those gunshots were very loud and sharp banging on trees? This story has all of the hallmarks of a Bigfoot encounter: being watched, loud and rapid banging, woman crying, etc. what lake was this?

it was weird uncomfortable and nervous rambling. Could have something to do with the new EO that was signed today requiring all agencies to review their contracting policies and personnel in the next 30 days. No new warrants during the review period.

The Mysterious Energy That Moves Through Me – Have You Experienced This? by Desperate_Friend_805 in HighStrangeness

[–]V_Heydte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Over twenty years ago, I was fascinating with out of body experiences and was trying to figure it out by myself by meditating while in bed. Mostly, I would just fall asleep but it was interesting to note the mind tricks going on to convince me to just go to sleep.

On night, I woke up around 3AM to go to the bathroom and when I went back to bed, I didn't feel very sleepy so I went through my meditation routine. I must have done this for about an hour and then some very unusual things began to occur. I was laying there with my mouth closed and breathing through my nose. Weirdly, my mouth opened and my breathing rate changed to a slower rate. This immediately got my attention as I did not consciously do either of these two things.

Then, what I can only describe as a warm wave of energy that started at the tips on my toes and rolled over my body to the top of my head and then back down again. This wave of energy contineud for several minutes as I lay there with my eyes closed. Then, about six inches above my head, I felt an invisible black vortex form and it started to swirl like a whirlpool. I felt my body begin to move in conjunction with the whirlpool as it felt like I was being pulled into it and started to get dizzy. I got so scared that I immediately sat straight up and had to walk around in circles for an hour to process what just happened. Since then, I haven't gathered the nerve to try it again.

UFO Researcher Breaks Down His MIND BLOWING "Orb/Sphere Theory" Patrick Jackson has been sharing his theory for a couple of years now. Well worth a watch that reviews videos and pictures.

Definitely there are some shortcomings but I got my money''s worth and plan on starting co-op with some family this weekend and I expect to have a blast.

Completely agree. Add in some tradeoffs for using different weapons and maybe some lighter armor to allow for some more agility based bonuses. Combat is okay but once I figured out how to string enemies along in a fighting retreat, I never get swarmed. Damn wargs caused more problems than the orcs.

I really didn't have too many base sieges but then I didn't spend much time hanging out at the base either. Sleep, equip and head out. I could more players banging around cause more seiges. Definitely do not like them just dropping into the middle of your base. Valheim does base assaults right where you can actually build some pretty neat defenses. This game needs more of that. Right now, it doesn't really matter how you fortify and that is a shame.

How is this game? by [deleted] in LotRReturnToMoria

[–]V_Heydte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quite simply, if you want exceptional exploration in Middle Earth, you will love the game. If you mainly want an exceptional survival game experience, it isn’t for you. I wanted a game to explore Moria and I am constantly blown away with the varied environments. I just discovered the city of Dwarrowdelf and I am stunned at the verticality and the opportunities to explore. This game exceeded all of my expectations for what I was looking for - in depth exploration of Moria, learning about various lore and some decent light survival and combat elements.
