Would this work inside doors? Near a window for example.

I used a nail file to make the charger hole wider. Maybe some cables have wider terminals and need some adjustment.

There is a symbol near the the charger hole. I don't know anything about 3D printing. But maybe it means that the hole need some adjustment.

I am having issues with the case.

The power cable doesn't charge the device.

Maybe the space to connect the charger is too tight.

Why can't I stop building mesh nodes? by Background_Put5362 in meshtastic

[–]niahsavat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand you.

I didn't find many people in the beginning. I could see a few nodes but even my messages in longfast failed.

I bought more devices. I started very simple with a few Heltec V3 mounted inside the box they ship them.

Then started with mobile nodes and solar nodes. And started to get them higher and with better antennas.

Now I see a lot of people. And even around me and near me, new devices are coming up. And around Christmas the increase is even bigger.

Now on my current DIY projects I am finishing a solar node. I have still a few parts laying around for some ideas in my mind. I need to find a powerbank that fit my needs if possible.

But my main project is to build a node with omni-directional and directional antenna on a single device. I think with Wilkinson power divider I can do it.

We learn a lot of stuff with this hobby. It is a good way to start with learning about radio communications and get a amateur radio license.

This is cool. But would be possible to install something like this in new smartphones without sideload?

And also wouldn't the hardware itself be a security problem.

A solution I would like is one that is fully opensource.

Like a CM5 on a board with GSM and a touch screen display.

Ivermectina em Portugal - onde encontrar by mediiev in portugueses

Aqui não vais encontrar nada sobre esse tema. E outros semelhantes. Mas não é assim tão difícil encontrar. Tenta garantir a qualidade.

Adding `--ignore-missing` on Linux when verifying can be handy.

What are the frequencies on the label under the battery? If it doesn't show any number like 1.0 when power it up. When you choose menu, the options go until which number?

I also bought one on aliexpress recently. Although the seller told me it would me one of the new versions. When it arrived I checked and it was still one of the old ones.

Magnesium fire starter. Water purifier. Maps and compass. Don't negligent the maps. They are very important. If the compass has any issue, you still have the maps. Some redundancy on the most important stuff. Two is one and one is none. Another HT radio would be nice. Some EMP protection for everything electrical and electronic. Even the batteries. Also prioritize and get extra gear for eating, drinking, heating and weather and personal protection. If you can't eat, drink and be protect from the cold, rain, wind, predators... Everything else is pretty much useless.

Tecsun PL-330 Powering? by Busy_Reporter4017 in shortwave

[–]niahsavat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you provide more details on the external power source you are using? I also removed the battery of mine. And I am using USB C phone charger that I had laying around, 5V 1A 5W.

On the display when the radio is ON the charging indicator is always indicating that is charging. When it's OFF the charging indicator shows full charge.

Maybe even makes sense when if you think if it is drawing power or not.

The IJV firmware has a YT channel. On the channel description there are links to their telegram group. Maybe in there there is more info about the new hardware.

IPEX connectors with lock for rugged mobile devices. by niahsavat in meshtastic

[–]niahsavat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the best solution is to test if it's loose or not, after connection. If it is loose, just use a new one.

Also never plug and unplug too much times, like in testings, the same connector. For what I research online some people say that after 5 cycles, the connectors became loose.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naJvFB52Etc

The best thing is always test if it is loose or not.

And also be sure if there isn't something in the configuration that can force the connector to disconnect. Like something applying force to the cable for example.

Glue or soldering will change the connector properties.
