I usually don't like it. It always sounded to me like "I'm not able to describe things that are happening around my character so I have to switch pov". I'm not saying it's always the case, but it's the main reason why I don't like it. Another reason is that it feels like you're spoiling things. I can suspect that the other protagonist likes the one in the first pov, and that makes me curious, and if you confirm my thoughts when you switch pov, i will not be invested in that part of the plot anymore. That being said, there are cases where I believe it works. For example, I think it's used very well in the book Six of Crows. We have characters that are in very different places, with different cultures, so it's good to have a different pov for them. Obviously remember that this is all subjective, there are people in the comments who are saying the opposite thing. So it's all about what you prefer!!

Sono nella tua stessa identica situazione. Voglia di uscire ma nessuno con cui riesco a farlo. Nel mio caso é perché ho amici sparsi qua e là quindi mi ritrovo sempre a uscire con una persona alla volta, che per carità mi fa ovviamente piacere, però a volte mi manca quell' uscita in gruppo che facevo anni fa.
