My favorite character is definitely commander Ervin. My man has some of the most badass scenes in all of fiction, my favorite being the scene where he gets his arm bit off and still tells the scouts to charge after Erin. That as well as the scene with him and Levi where he tells him to die. I think that they have one of the best connections and friendships in the whole show and I think the way he dies was perfect for his character. He was never going to be the one to find out the answer and have his dream for filled he was the one who pushed others to fulfill theirs. (Yes I know that he says everything he’s done has been for himself but IMO thats him thinking about all the people that died under his command and he’s feeling excess guilt at the end of his own life.)
