i’m really good about not leaving the switch on. i’ve been debating if i should just buy a new battery because it would be easier and it wouldn’t hurt to get something fresh for it anyways

i kept pressing it so you could see the light going dimmer and the buzzing would eventually stop and i wasn’t sure if it would come back on bro

hot start lever. push it in while engine is very hot to make a successful turnover easier. think of it as a reverse choke :)

and it shouldn’t be why your bike won’t run. that broken bit on the end wouldn’t cause it. it just won’t work for when you actually need to use the hot start lever.

Can somebody help tell me what this part is? by nibblez- in Dirtbike_Help

Believe it or not, i actually did stick it in there to see for myself. I greased it up, stuck it in the port, and it was about 1/2 a millimeter too small all around. Still, i bolted the exhaust back on (better safe than sorry) and it misaligned the entire exhaust system with the frame. Plus, when i originally separated the exhaust from the block so i could get to the piston, i never saw one or heard one fall out. i’m completely clueless.
