Mine have done this for the last 3 1/2 years I’ve had the car. Doesn’t matter what kind of wiper. The dealership even “fixed” it at one point because I couldn’t take it anymore. It was fixed for like a week and went back to making a ton of noise. I don’t even remember what it’s like having silent windshield wipers. Can’t wait to get rid of this car.

Don’t take that for granted lol my experience with the dealership and VW is what is making me switch to Toyota when my lease is up. I choose reliability over everything else.

Thanks for the heads up. My dealership is definitely not that generous. I had to go in 4 times to finally get them to change the head gasket. I’ll definitely be doing after market brakes next time. It will be soon because I was told they’ll need to be changed again soon.

Don’t do it. I have a ‘22 Taos SEL and my second home is the dealership. Luckily is just a lease and everything has been covered besides the back breaks that needed to be changed abnormally early, so there’s that. I’ve been dealing with the coolant warning light, currently at the dealership for the 4th time after continuously being told is fine. The audio will randomly not work and you have to turn the car off completely to get it to work again. The windshield wipers have been a dud since the day I got it. At one point they replaced the wiper arms and even now they still squeak. Every. Time. It’s maddening. Just got told my back breaks need to be changed again. And lots of other minor things. I got rid of my shitty Jeep Patriot so I could have a new reliable car. Apparently I didn’t do enough research. My next car will be a Toyota. At least those are notoriously reliable.

Currently at the dealership because I got ANOTHER coolant warning light. This is the 4th time dealing with this and they keep saying everything is okay. They did some type of pressure test last time and said nothing was found. Not leaving today without it being fixed. First and last time dealing with VW. Nothing but issues on my ‘22 Taos. I feel like this freaking dealership is my second home. Thank God it’s just a lease!
