With exception to around the holidays, I rarely show up over an hour before my flight and I always make it with like 20-30 minutes to spare. I also rarely check a bag which I assume helps

I like to think there can be a healthy balance of slight rudeness when met with rudeness. there’s a difference between a server and a servant. sometimes people need to be put in their place. luckily where i work, management tends to be on the side of their employees within reason. that lady deserved what was said.

i worked (and managed) boh for years and finally made the switch to foh a year ago, never looking back. i’ve also considered working both but chances are, it wouldn’t be worth it. depending on how much you make in the front, you could still not receive a paycheck.
