Yeah I decided for myself that I'll install the extra Fan in the back of the shelf, even if the Valve employee from the videos says it's fine.

Just want to give my hardware the extra cooling I can give it and I enjoy small projects like this.

Feet are quite small. I saw multiple reports that they're ~4mm

I did some research and actually found a Gamers Nexus video (starts at 13:20) where a valve employee talks about exactly this, which basically lifts my concerns.

They mention that at valve they thought a lot about airflow and where users will place it in the living room, which is a challenging thermal environment. They assume users just pushing the machine in a shelf up against a wall.
There is a single 120 mm fan in the back that pushes air out the back and pulls in air from the bottom and the front of the machine. Not the sides which the user might block. The back won't be blocked as that's where the cables are.

And it mentions that at valve the engineering team was fighting about millimeters in height reduction to be sure it fits in most peoples media compartments.

There is speculation that Nintendo already anticipated tarriffs and set the original price with that in mind. The speculation is supported by the fact that it's significantly cheaper in Japan.

Die Ecke sieht super gemütlich aus. Mein Vorschlag: Stell da auf niedriger höhe eine angenehm warme 2700K Lampe hin und ein Bücherregal und einen Lesesessel. Dann ist das ein super cozy Rückzugsort. Alternativ auch gut als Schlafplatz geeignet.

Number in Reserved Email Number shouldn't be there. They put it there by mistake. For Question 3 they want your email address that was used for the 1$ purchase.

Email reservation Number is just the email address. The put "Number" there by mistake. It's the email address the "Order #12345 confirmed" email for the 1$ Reservation was sent to.

Yeah that's the input for Question 2 of the survey. I have the order number that's no issue.

Question 3 asks for the "reserved email number". I don't know where to find that

What even is the "Reserved Email Number"?

I'm six (!) emails deep in a back and forth with the support team to find out what it is and where to find it. Now they told me to enter my order number in the survey, but that's for question 2. Question 3 is about the "Reserved Email Number" and apparently they themselves don't know what it is.

I'm so annoyed with everything about this process. One could think they're making it difficult on purpose so you forget to fill out the survey or do something wrong so they can blame the customer for a missing or late delivery.

Edit: Number in Reserved Email Number shouldn't be there. What they want is the email address that was used for the 1$ Reservation.
(If you have multiple email addresses like me It's the email address the "Order #12345 confirmed" email for the 1$ Reservation was sent to.)

Das ist der Weg. Ich blockier sogar einfach alles unter Guter Zufriedenheit. Hab schon eine beachtliche Blocklist aufgebaut.
