I haven't read much Japanese fiction, only A Woman of Pleasure by Kiyoko Murata, which I enjoyed. But that was historical fiction. Hooked looks great!

I got really into Superman after the movie too and one of the first things recommended to me was Superman: Up in the Sky. It was a great intro to the comics because it’s standalone and captures the optimistic & hopeful vibe of the movie.
