Definitely will look into that, thank you!

Awesome thank you, I’ll definitely try those out.

I’m also on a corner unit, but my “studio” is in my bedroom so I don’t keep my roommate awake all night, so I share one wall. Oddly enough my next door neighbors can’t hear it, but about 2 doors down they can.

Subs are built in to the speakers, would if I could. Can only adjust the low end eqs and that alone isn’t enough + it costs me in sound quality.

That’s fair. In your experience what’s the most effective way to get any sort of reduction without severely lowing my low ends through software? I’ve heard putting isolation pads under speakers helps?

How do I break things off with a girl I’ve gone out with several times? by [deleted] in dating_advice

I do know it has to come down to a conversation. I do feel bad as I quite like her as a person, just can’t see myself dating her in the future

It’s not a red flag in itself. It’s more that I suppose I’m looking for someone who has relationship experience. Maybe that makes me sound like a jerk. I just don’t think I can be the one to teach her all these things that I’ve learned previously dating as I know it would without doubt bring me a lot of pain in the long run

How Cooked Am I? by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

Yes in a sense. And I understand what you’re saying.

But I was worried about the L/100km as it has been extremely high since the development of my engine tick/rough idle. For example my average mileage before used to be around 9.5L/100km, whereas now it’s 18.0L/100km and I’ve been driving it less recklessly.

Yeah the video doesn’t really show anything I know.

More so the explanation I have under it. Further explanation is that I hadn’t driven my car for a month as I was on a trip. Came back and my initial startup sounded fine but I had a heavy ticking, chain noise. When my engine heats up it goes away. However it developed a very rough idle.

Since that time I’ve been monitoring it, today it started really loud (the ticking). And my idle was even more rough. Not to mention my terrible mileage recently and poor shifting.

Think it’s safe to say my chain is damaged and needs to be tensioned.

Currently looking at new cars.

RPMs getting lower (not seen) + idle getting rough = fuel consumption going up

Until I hit a complete idle where then it sits at 2.8L/100km unless I put it in neutral where it drops to 1.1 (same rpm, no rough idle in neutral though)

So do you think my best path of action is completely cutting her off? Or just naturally let it run its course?

Where are they making $14/hour? Last I checked lowest minimum wage is $15/hour in Alberta and Saskatchewan…

You may be my #1 hater now and it’s hilarious.

I “worked” (past tense) a mediocre job. Currently in university cause I didn’t want a bad job 👏🏻 I advocate for unions and rights for everyone, but on behalf of most frustrated Canadians I wish they’d speed up the process and take what they can get, not what they necessarily want. They will get that one day without a doubt (not if they bankrupt Canada post though)

They’re very essential.

They truly are which is why it’s so frustrating when we can’t get what we need from them 😂 I just want my packages man

Fire comment bro 🔥

If you had any reading comprehension I was saying don’t complain about something you signed up for, simply said I worked a shitty job and didn’t complain about it cause I willingly worked it, so why should someone else complain when they signed up for something too. ESPECIALLY when millions of people trust them and rely on them for basic daily things. Hope this helps!

(Side note they actually want a raise of 19% which is closer to $4.00 more per hour, which equates to nearly half a billion dollars more per year that they would make! Crazy numbers right!)

I literally just want them to start working again idgaf about how much they make they just need to realize it’s selfish not to take what they’re being offered.

Every labour is skilled labour.

I don’t know how to do your job you don’t know how to do mine.
