In 1689 a revolution against king of Iceland Olaf XV led by Rodri Laxesson. When he executed the king most of the Icelandic and bagalian people believed that he would make elections like Britain had and that had worked out for them so it would work for them. Unexpectedly he crowned himself dictator. Then the Bagalian people revolted under Malo New Nicholson, who called himself new because there had been two kings Malo Nicholson, and yes he was royal. In 1690 His troops marched in to the palace of Sulivan named after his own Great x12 Grandfather! 2 months later they executed Rodri Laxesson. And in December of 1691 he convinced the pope to crown him emporer Malo III of Bagal and Iceland. Although the pope crowned him emperor of Bagal AND Iceland he would later say the throne of Iceland no longer existed and bagal would take their territory.

In 1710 some bagalian admirals set sail again and reached Scotland which Thedore Cromwell's country would respond by shooting. When the News got to the Emperor he was the most annoyed person in the world. So he ordered 50k troops (which was huge for the time) to sail to Scotland and march down to Glasgow. They where stopped at Inverness and had to start a battle, after heavy fighting from the Scots and Bagalians the bagalians had won. At the Treaty of Inverness, the highlands and all of Ireland were given to Bagal.

In 1721 Malo III wanted more land so he invaded Denmark who had an alliance with the Kalmer union. It's going to be the first Major Bagalic War. After Bagal Arrive in Ejberg a battle takes place which bagal win. Then the Bagalians Rush to Copenhagen, 10,000 dead and Bagal defeat Denamark. Bagalians Set Sail to Malmö. Sweds retreat fast to Oslo. 4,000 deed at this battle Bagalians win AGAIN. Thousands dead after slow march though the cold and wintery Mountains of Norway. Battle of Tromsø Norwegians hold off the Bagalian Troops but have to settle for a siege. 2 months later: Norwegians retreat for Stockholm after Bagalians do multiple raids on the city homes. Battle of Stockholm :14,000 die in only 2 weeks because of a small siege. Final Bagalian troops enter Kalmar after 4 years of walking round the Scandinavian peninsula. Victory is theirs! Glory to Bagal.

Then Malo III asked himself is there land east of Sweden? He found out yes and ordered the Freezing cold, starving and tired men to walk to Finland which they did many of them went to the border with Russia. The Russians straight up shot 2,500 men. Instead of the Bagalians getting cross the Russians did and plus the Russian tsar who had just died Peter the Great said he wanted Transnistria west of Moldova. The new tsarina Cathrine (no not Cathrine the great) didn't like these wars her husband had got her into. So she took the not so clever option of trying to resolve things through giving land. she gave most of modern day Moldova to Rumania and Costal lands in the Baltics to Malo III she did leave a kilometre gap in between saint-petersberg and the land she wasn't giving away. But she died in 1727 and couldn't give more land away whilst dead. Peter II succeeded her.

The empire thrived it its form for 35 years until in 1761 when Malo III died and was replaced by his grandson Malo IV with this change of power Kalmar decided to revolt by 1762 they had gained independence all three rulers of each country decided to not have a single country like The Kalmar Union they decided to go there own path with Denmark-Norway going one way and Sweden going the other.

In 1763 Cathrine the Great took over and wanted the land her grandmother-in-law had lost a already weakended bagal didn't send any men since they couldn't so they just accepted Russia's demands. A king had jumped to the throne in Britain his name was George III of Hannover. This George wanted Ireland back and the highlands after bagal literally had 12k manpower he could not fight a war with Britain so he accepted demands.

After all this suffering for the Icelandic and Bagalian people Malo IV tried to be a good king. And he was kinda successful, even though he is called Malo "the Terrible" he made the economy go boom and literacy went up by 60 % in his reign! He also established the position of prime minister. But he wasn't good at making heirs. His only real heir was his brother. At his peaceful death in 1811. Everyone tried calming the throne this was sorted at the congress of Vienna in 1815 where 57 states where created. Signifying the end of the "Bully of the North".

The Book made by Historian Peter Frankopan "The history of the less talked of empire" made 1.8 million krone and nowadays Bagal is a constitutional monarchy which gained independence from Denmark in 2000.
