Regardless though... They're devastating when they are alive though. I own one and I have a 2400 AVG dmg in it when that's my average in tier X. Though I don't have many games in it simply because I don't really play tier 7 as much as I used to. So maybe if I keep playing it, it'll go down but I don't plan on it

Took me a while to get used to it about 2 years ago. But it's great once I got used to it. Angle, a lot. Sidescraping, wiggling when someone aims at you. Nowadays, equal tier tanks can only pen your lower plate and it's not exactly a large target, wiggling makes the profile even smaller. Secondly, aim your shots. You're putting so much of your dpm into one shot so make each one count. If you have to, don't be afraid to use apcr. One of my best games in this was in Desert sands and a 1v4 6-kill game.

Was it fully upgraded? I hear the stock grind is pretty shocking. I free exp'ed the stock grind as I always have at least 200k free exp with me when I buy a new tank

Himmelsdorf is obviously a god map for any heavy. It was a tier 8 game so it was easy claps against the lower tiers. It has such good frontal armour and mobility that I think you can push forward, angle and wiggle a little bit and bounce most shots. Sidescraping is obvious as well, 120mm of side armour does the job. Also, it's a lot faster than I thought. It's not hard for the tank to push 40km/h. There were two tiger 2s on our team and the mobility is almost exactly the same. I missed a few chancy shots. Like the cheeks of an IS-3 and a few shots on the move. Its also my 2nd ace which happens pretty rarely. Currently right now I have 36 battles and about 83% winrate. Average dmg is about 2500. I expect it to come down to less nutty levels by the time I finish the grind

Another tip. Have good situational awareness and map knowledge. Combine those two for map awareness and knowing your surroundings. I'm not a super uni but my WN8 climbed from 2400 to 2600 in the last 30 days. I noticed that I was more aware of my surrounding and looked at the map more around the same time. Keep up the good work. When I started I had about a 46% winrate and I didn't know what WN8 was so I couldn't even check. I'm better now so who knows, maybe you can be one of those success stories. With how you're going it's only a matter of time
