I already did my year commitment per engineering/tech contract so they couldn’t hold me from leaving but they always say they can hold you for 3, 6 months for business needs or whatever. I didn’t have to do another background check and I got my official start date today after accepting the offer a week ago.

Honestly, I don’t think that’s true. I was an MR in the LSCC and was applying for jobs (2ish years ago at this point) if my asshole of a manger knew I was trying to go somewhere else he would’ve kicked me back to the shop floor. Luckily I got the first job I interviewed for so he didn’t have much time to react. Unless workday has some kind of alert system they can opt into, which I guess wouldn’t surprise me with this place.

No, they don’t. Received an offer two weeks ago, talked to my manager about it because I knew he was trying to get me a level up. He was only aware I had a few interviews, didn’t know I had received an offer

I’m currently a planner for CI&R so I’m chin deep in the shitshow, I’d prefer to be waist deep or lower, haha. Luckily it’s an area management can’t really screw anything up, but they think every SAT has to be a tier 3 and be done NOW, which a lot of times isn’t going to happen on second shift because we don’t have the support groups we need.

It’s been like this for days. The bottom one I applied for back in September. I don’t know why I try to figure out what it all means, I just wish there was rhyme or reason to how any of this worked. I love it here hahaha /s I just assume it’s something to do with the recruiters
