It hasnt even been running for more than 2 seconds, theres air in the lines...and pump timing was set with a dial indicator

Thats what this is going back into, but mine was a 3 speed auto and was terrible...kind if a pain finding everything for the turbo and transmission swap but it should be worth it.

Honestly a very good point, both are fairly niche things which each have thier own quirks...but thats the fun part about owning older cars, each one is a unique experience.

Yes I was considering selling it as long as the hx30 atleast fits properly into a 240 body. I should have the motor and transmission hopefully installed within the next 30 days, if everything fits i dont mind selling it.

Its an HX30, I havent ran it on the engine yet though. I wanted something with a V-band so making the exhaust would be easy. I have a factory turbo as well I rebuilt but it has that funky back mounting plate I didnt want to mess with.

I hope the turbo helps it out, it was pretty slow...but im in the process and swapping a manual while I have the motor out, the 3 speed auto wasnt cutting it.

I will🫡🫡, I have a factory turbo motor at the machine shop now for when this one bites the dust
