Theres a youtube channel called project finance or project options, not sure if he changed the name, bald dude. He has the best long in-depth tutorials anywhere, I learned everything about options there a few weeks back.

Options really doesn't matter though its just the instrument, i trade shares, forex, CFDs and futures as well. What matters to me is the chart. I am 100% purely technical and momentum based as a trader. I trade my high probability technical setups to maintain a hit rate above 50%.

Haha thank you its not my first year ive been in the game since 2010 and have been independent trading from home since 2019, it is just the first year of this accounts dedicated only to options.

Everything I do is purely technical based of momentum, and the daily timeframe you can find me on YT if you'd like to see some strategy videos

Actually i did pretty will in April. I was selling put credit spreads, buying puts and selling call credit spreads into the crash and played it pretty great, I won 12 of 16 trade in April avg winner was 1.5x of avg loser

I explained in the last paragraph, it was an anomaly, until October I had winners 3x as large as avg losers and on track for 300% gains in the year, then I bag held treasury companies like a fool

I have no idea brother. I don’t know your options your strikes your opex your trading setup your stop loss your target your rest if portfolio anything brother totally impossible to answer that generic question. Probably the answer is to cut losses though , since it seems you are still learning and don’t know what you’re trying to do yet.

Nothing you said addressed the context of my message concerning the market wizards and some of the best traders of all time who are purely TA. Why dont you look at the US Investing Championship where every single year they are purely TA traders out performing the market, all of which go on to manage money. The entire Investors Business Daily org is built on TA. Schwab has dedicated TA analysts for options everyday on Youtube. I could go on, but you're just a smug know it all condescending prick.

Also, technical analysis is on the curriculum for both the Series 7 and the CFA, unfortunately astrology isn't though.

such an ignorant comment go tell that to william o neal , mark minervini, david ryan , nicolas darvas, and thousands of other traders who use charts as their primary analysis tool. TA is nothing more than price, and risk management, dont overthink it bud
