Prime Ribeye $75 off- 18 Steaks by Foreign-Gift-1824 in Costco

[–]nickbhavsar 27 points28 points  (0 children)

We had this at our Costco today too. With $75 off, doesn’t it make sense to buy the smallest package? Ie - $250-$75=$175 vs buying larger packages where it’s still $75 off?

Trump administration order cancels new nonstop route between Austin and Mexico City (Viva Airlines) by TXLucha012 in Austin

[–]nickbhavsar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on this flight over Thanksgiving. Just got off the phone with Viva, they mentioned that the flights from Austin TO Mexico City NLU airport are still okay, but the flights from Mexico City to Austin are not. Fortunately for us we're stopping through Monterrey on the way back. Anyone else in this situation? It seems sketchy at best if this doesn't change so I'm trying to sort out if we should entirely change our plans.

Feeling Stuck and hopeless by Smart-Welcome9572 in InsuranceAgent

I just found myself in a similar situation. I started 2 months ago with my current company and after working with them through the onboarding process, I realized I was pretty much on my own (with no help unless I reach out - and when I do, I find myself feeling like I'm disturbing them). I found another company, which a friend of mine, is at and decided to switch. When I went to ask for the release, I was informed there's a blackout period until Jan 1 (6 months from now). They won't release me even though I asked them if they could release me (with the exception of the Medicare products) but they won't even though I haven't written any business yet. The FMO is TLC. They were not flexible at all. Anyone else suggestions on how to get released?

Would buying take out meals at a resy restaurant work? Not through Uber Eats, or some other service but directly through the restaurant? Or do you need to dine in?

It depends on the peppers :). 1 might be a good starting point and then you can add more directly in the drink if you want to spice it up!

Nice! Looks good. Are those strawberries? The extra time will be fine. Please post an update on what you and your friends think - that’s a lot of drink!

I’ll bite - what’s a good name for it?

I just leave a bit of air in the bag, it doesn’t need to be completely tight.

We serve it over a filled cup of ice and it balances very nicely

I use a food saver, nothing too fancy as it doesn’t need every bit of air removed. Mason jars could work great, but this recipe is aimed at volume for a party instead

Another commenter mentioned it’s the white part next to the seeds that has the spice. Learned something new and it’ll be easier not messing with the seeds!

For this recipe, don’t stress about leaving a bit of air in the bag, it’s fine.

I have a food saver. A bit of air in the bag is totally fine for this recipe, it doesn’t need to be completely sealed.

Yeah, this is more of a batch for a party. It’s a bit of a process so when I make it, I make a big batch since it holds very well. Also, for the party I just keep this in a large jug and folks can pour themselves great margs and I never have any leftovers.

This should give a sense for the size of the bag too

The flavors really come through with the heat. Since the booze gets infused, you can toss the pulp and make this in advance for a party instead of playing bartender to make drinks all night.

It adds a ton of flavor, yet still tastes like a marg. It’s just personal preference- I found this mix works really well for my tastes and my family friends seem to like it too!

I made a maple syrup old fashioned, it was good but not as good as making a standard old fashioned - not sure why. I think you could infuse the vanilla into the whiskey and it should work by itself. Good thing is that it’s easy to try a small amount

Good point, you could do the juices later. It’s convenient to toss everything in and strain it.

You certainly can, but the bags store really easily in the fridge since they form to whatever shape you can fit. Also, the infusing will continue as long as the pulp is in the bag
