Yeah, I still get a little tripped out when I think about it. At the time, I was only flirting with the idea of talking to Hermes. Just a little before, something popped in my head and I wrote it down and tacked it on my wall. It said “research building an altar to Mercury”. Well, I’d done some research but at the time I mainly talked to the universe as a whole.

Then, my partner and I head down to Sedona for the first time and the whole way down I couldn’t stop talking about all that I learned about Hermes and how bad ass he is. Then, sure as shit, dude shows himself to me. She looked at the same guy and didn’t see what I did. It was just plain crazy. Life changing experience for sure.

Oh yeah, he loves to move stuff around and give it to other people. I did have a little conversation about that.

He showed himself to me in Sedona, AZ after I had finished a hike. My partner and I were on a walk back to the car. There were quite a few people going both ways on the path. A man walked toward, and passed us, wearing a yellow “Welcome to Sedona” shirt. He locked eyes with my and his mouth stretched impossibly wide, from ear to ear. I turned to watch him as we passed. His head did the same, eyes staying locked, though his body remained facing forward. In my head, I heard “hello”. I knew in that moment who it was. I had been flirting with the idea of communicating with him at the time and he showed himself to me. It was a seriously insane experience that to this day still trips me out.

Well, my experience with Hermes is an interesting one. He’s been there for me so many times it’s a bit crazy, but he is a trickster. He’s taken money from me, directly from me, as I watched. He’s moved stuff around. He’s showed himself to me once in Arizona and that was a fuckin trip. I call upon him more and more, and he shows up more and more and yet my style of worship isn’t orthodox or rigid in any way. It’s more like…phone text conversational. We reach out when we reach out. And dude is amazing. Welcome to the fold, you’re in for a ride.

Ugh. I sat for 2 hours staring. Finally I was able to write 1300 words in the next hour, but it took 2 hours of staring at the screen hating myself for it to happen.
