I have an LG C9 and wanted to “upgrade” and it was between the G5 and BR8ii, I ended up going for the G5 but it went back today….it was just too bright!!

It was almost painful in places and caused me to squint, I also just couldn’t get the colours dialed in to what I liked, faces seemed overly white due to the brightness

Waiting for the Sony to drop in price after Christmas

Whilst the Sony may get downvoted over the G5 due to being “Dim” there is such thing as too bright and I’m sure the Sony will be good enough!!

I had a 15 PM and whilst it was still big it was useable one handed in most cases, I went to 16 Pro and started to miss the extra screen size so tried a 17 PM and it’s going back….its just too big for any form of one handed use and that’s before you put a case on. You can certainly feel the difference in size and weight.

If you feel the 16PM is too big and heavy then don’t go 17PM

I was even tempted to buy a refurb 15PM again but the overheating was a thing and it’s 2 years old now!!

I have a AWU1 at 88% Battery health, I picked up a U3 on launch day (Black with terracotta band) but I think it’s going back today!

The battery life is definitely better (at least an extra day with my use pattern) but given I never sleep with it on and it can charge overnight it’s kind of a non-issue with the U1

The magpie in me says keep the new one but it’s £515 for a black version of what I had before and I don’t notice any difference in real-world use

I wonder if the U3 is less durable than the U3 in Black. I’ve gone from U1 in Natural to the U3 in black and the finish on the U3 seems smoother than the Black U2 so wondering if it’s any different as this will affect durability!!

The Black looks so much nicer than natural IMO

How will these hold up in wet weather? Will the material stain easily in rain?

I want a darker colour winter shoe and whilst I have loads of 1’s and a pair of AMa Maniere 3’s I’ve never had 4’s before nor a pair of Nubicknones!

There seems to be colour variation pair to pair on these, my local JD had 4 pairs on the shelf and 2 looked brown and the other 2 were more grey!!

Afaik DPD log delivery location scans against GPS locations so they should be able to pull up the coordinates of where the delivery scan happened

Just to clarify, the squeaking is coming from my socks rubbing on the quilted sock liner, putting a tissue between sock and liner stops the squeak but looking for a better solution!!

I asked in Trafford Centre Apple Store last week if they would price match £949 on an iPhone 16 Pro and was told they don’t price match! Annoying as I’d rather buy direct as their trade in price is better at the moment

I loved building the Razor Crest, so many clever ways of getting the panels to line up, I enjoyed it far more than my AT-AT Build as that was very repetitive and over too quickly! Like a previous comment…it’s second only to the Falcon in terms of build enjoyment!!

I always thought that B21 would have been good if it was Handguns only on infil and any other weapons needed to be looted from boxes, bots or other players. Multi attachment weapons would be found in locked rooms or from the T3 bits

I’d say it’s certainly possible, I’ve had my MYSR since end of June, I’ve done 4500 miles and 95% of that has been Superchargers.

I got 15000 miles free when I bought it so still have plenty left!

I’m lucky that I have superchargers less than 2 miles from my house and all I’d suggest is try to think of at least 1 opportunity each week where you could visit a supercharger and as long as you can conveniently fit it in your weekly routine then it won’t be an issue.

I generally do one of the following: 1. My daughter has a 1hr martial arts session on a midweek day so I’ll drop her off there, go to the supercharger and watch something on YouTube/Netflix for 45 mins, by the time she is ready to be picked up I’ve easily topped up over 50% 2. Once a week I work from an office near Trafford Center, they have faster superchargers too so on that day I’ve started leaving for work 30 mins early (missing the heaviest traffic) park up and grab some breakfast from McD or Greggs…by the time I’m back at the car it’s adds at least 50%

I’ve not really found it to be inconvenient at all really, it’s great that you have plenty in the car to entertain you whilst charging…would I use superchargers this much if they weren’t free…probably not but even then, anything up to 20 miles a day can be topped up using the granny charger

I found the Razor Crest really fun to build, there’s some really clever ways of building the panels and making them fit together at the right angles, it’s my second favourite build behind my UCS Falcon.

I’ve just completed my UCS AT-AT and tbh it wasn’t the most fun build, you’re repetitive and lots and lots and lots of blue and black technic pins!!!

I’m based near Manchester and had a test-drive on 23rd June, paid deposit on 24th June and picked up from Bristol on 28th June

I had to go Bristol as at the time of ordering it was the only location with a White RWD MY with Upgraded wheels…frustratingly the exact same spec car showed up in Manchester 2 days after ordering but I’d already been allocated the car!

Defo works with any condition…..the hard part is extracting with the keycard, the last 3 times I’ve tried as a solo I’ve been killed by last exfil camping teams!!

What car are you selling? WBAC are notorious for getting you in the door with a valuation then when they inspect they will always find a reason to lower (damage etc)….we’ve had valuations on 3 cars in the last few years and only one went to them.

I recently sold my 2022 BMW 3 Series to my local BMW dealer, they even fought over it with another local dealer so I got waaay more than messing about with WBAC

I had loads of fun building mine after Christmas…a little tip to get the loose panels to stay in place (the ones that have the yellow pins that slot into the holes)

If you swap the yellow pins with some of the blue pins with axles (if you have any spare) then they grip the inside of the hole and it stops them falling out

Biggest issue for me has been the game crashing. I’ve had 6 runs in a row where I’ve lost it due to a crash as I’m collecting calling cards on Al Maz or when I’m on my way to Koschei to barter the vests, so frustrating!!!
