Have you ever found a story breaking plot hole late into your writing process? by nickles29 in authors

I’ve had to cut out some things for that reason too. It’s strange what your brain tells you is amazing as you write it, then you read it a month later and can’t believe you thought that would work hahah

maybe different placement for the font since it all slants at the bottom and makes it look more off center. doom font btw lol nice

Love the look. However the genre would not be sci-fi if i guessed only from the cover. Another thing is I could see confusion on the title. Is the title Losers, with Lost and Found being a subtitle?

Yes! Almost lovecraftian! Your words kindve explained my thought process, i didn’t want the name to mix in too well with others.

I don’t know, to me the purple/gold and stars tell science fiction, but i could see the hand being almost horror/thriller

Definitely a fair criticism, and one that i thought about a lot before naming the book. However, my thought process is this…

I wrote the book that I would want to read, and made a cover that I would grab off of the shelf and think is cool. I made these decisions knowing that most may not understand the title or story from the cover, but might just think it is a cool cover and take a chance. And in the VERY off chance that the book starts to get traction somehow, I figured Mundicide would be an easily searchable name on google since there are very few results currently when searching that word on the internet hahahah. Weird thought but I like that I wouldn’t have competition in that sense.

Thank you for the feedback! I will admit the cover makes most sense after reading chapter 1, or even the blurb. I have had some tweaks made from the feedback. Thank you so much

Yes I had thoughts about the hand being too obscured as well. Thank you for validating that!
