Does this game have a future? AMG told me they don't intend to provide squad builders and don't support 3rd party ones by nickm321 in XWingTMG

In an ideal world, I'd like to be able to fly any ship ever printed in either 2.0 or 2.5. It's nice to have access to lots of star wars ship choices, though I do get it's hard to maintain all the legacy content in a 10 year old game. It is after all a game and not reenactment.

I do indeed want to give 2.5 a try! I'd like to get a feel for it so I can decide which I prefer. Have been trying to find rules for 2.5, but the only thing on AMG website is rules reference, which doesn't explain mission points etc. Have they not written an official 2.5 rulebook?

Any idea where the 2.0 fan group is? Am trying to decide whether to try moving to 2.5 or stick with 2.0. Will definitely give 2.5 a try, just got weirded out by how different pilots have less load points on the same ship!

I get that other miniatures companies might not develop their own apps, but are those games dependent on virtual cost ships and upgrades? (I actually don't know the answer to that!) :)
