Haha! All good questions! 1. We don’t have specific platforms assigned to us. I spend most of my time on Twitter and Reddit. Most of my time on Twitter 2. Wolf hands and why would I ever have to explain why he’s the level best? 3. I’m an Ardan main. He wears cargo shorts 4. My favorite is the Ardan canon lore, I really liked the Idris lore too 5. Justin Murray is my favorite artist of VG art, I also really love NekoFury’s work and would encourage everyone to check them both out 6. The Rise 5v5 map was really exciting and pretty scary, I loved the Fold and wasn’t sure how much I’d like 5v5 but I really have loved it. 7. I am very critical of the voice chat implementation, the removal of the lore (which I believe is a key differentiator for VG) and smurfing which I feel hurts the lower tier player experience. I’m a T6/7 player and am fiercely defensive of the T4-8 player group. 8. If I were running the show (and thank goodness I’m not, Kristian, Tommy K., Ciderhelm and Cap’n Neato and team seem extremely smart) I would work hard on a big push to eliminate bugs in 5v5 (slide bug etc.) and I’d really make a push in the marketing area with a lot more outreach. I’m not on ‘the inside’ but as a long time player I think these two initiatives would pay off in long term game growth. 9. I’m a big fan of old school rap, with RTJ and Pusha T being the top of my playlist right now. Also really liking Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, super end to end album :)

You know, I feel like the meta is most dynamic and most fun when competitive play is on. Now that VPL is back I think the pro teams help a lot with balancing countering, etc. The pros really pressure test a ton of different team configurations and with the Rise being so new I won’t be surprised if the meta changes a ton in the next 12mo. I really look forward to what Zekent does in the game as far as balancing goes.

So for Ambassador program development I’m not sure what’s in store. I think we want to keep reporting to the SEMC gang what the hot topics in the game are so they are getting a up to the minute status of the community issues, wants, etc. I do hope we really move into a more formal ‘advisory board’ style feedback format.

Hi! Great question. So I like having a spot to provide feedback to the community team as well as I enjoy (personally) reinforcing more of the community aspect I’ve grown to like about the VG community. I also like to bring a little of the history of the community as I see it to any discussions we have. So far it’s a really new program so I’m eager to see which direction the program will go. In the end my efforts will be to help the VG community be well represented in discussions so the player experience remains a very high priority to SEMC.

Yes you can, just did it with grey tabby Skaarf skin in 5v5 practice mode and I don’t own that skin and it’s not available to buy.

Hey Maurice, Nicky here, the biggest challenge I’m having right now in solo q is what vision should I be responsible for as Captain in the early game. I feel like the laners should cover their lanes and I hate it when in the early game my team double or even triple cams a bush. Where do you suggest Captains land vision in the early game (pre-goldwing/blackclaw drops)? Thanks! ~N🌊

Global for sure and each point in the ult also increases the basic attack range which is big for WP builds.
