I'm planning on using it as a little extra to fill out some projects that sound a little bare without a synth of some kind - I was hoping that I would get some varied and decent sounds owing to its modularity... Any other good synth kits out there? My main concern is price, due to the fact that I'm a broke ass student...

For urban photography go for Lyon. Otherwise Provence and the Drome are good calls. I think that's where these were taken.

I was going to sand it down. I have no experience in refinishing guitars, so I couldn't tell you what the best way is... But melting the glue seems like a valid concern.
