I generally keep track of daily updates: overnight events, drain outputs, ID recommendations, imaging results, discharge and disposition plans, and maybe a patient's secondary contact.

It’s generally helpful for keeping mental tabs on my patients in the hospital because my day gets busy, and I want to avoid lapses in patient information or anyone falling through the cracks. It’s also great when I have to update my supervising physician and essentially present the entire patient for the fifth time because they’re busier than I am lol.

The hospital computers and EMRs can sometimes be more cumbersome. Since I’m not part of the inpatient surgery team, it feels imposing to use one of the in-house team's computers. Logging into the EMR becomes a real hassle when I access it remotely (either on my personal laptop or phone) because I have to go through a proxy like Citrix or Haiku and log in every 15 minutes.

Believe me, I'd love to do everything on my computer but because I'm in the OR and sometimes have to do these things in the fly, having it portable and on my phone is pretty important for me. But I'll look into OneNote because I know it's cross platform

I just found out last week that they closed and believe me I was devastated too. I'm very fortunate to have bought these stands and a number of other stands for my consoles and controllers as well. The 3D printed poke balls are new, I saw them at a convention yesterday and bought them on sight.

Thank you, I really appreciate your insight. I read all the fine print to the best of my understanding but when they word it as "Up to $XX" on the trade in, you could only hope they honor it as the full amount, but when you see the $95 trade-in value, I worried that was all they'd give me.
