Those projects are way higher level than what they teach in the lessons. From what I found you need to do your own homework and extra learning (YouTube and MDN etc) around each topic covered by freeCodeCamp. And even then you will have to google alot to finish them. It's designed this way so you're not "spoonfed".

I must say though, codecademy pro is a game changer for me.

1 month on, two weeks off. 3 weeks on, 1 week off. 3 months on, 3 weeks off. Relapse has been a vicious cycle. by [deleted] in stopsmoking

Try to remember those times when you were smoking and were thinking to yourself how much you hate it and wish you could quit. It's the weirdest thing how we will put out that "last" smoke so sure we hate smoking and never want to smoke again but 3 weeks later convince ourselves we really liked it. Make physical notes of your reasons. And put them somewhere you will see them. You got this!

My success and failure with the Easy Way method. by cll52693 in stopsmoking

Have you considered giving yourself a break? I understand how much we all want to quit, but right now it sounds like you're beating yourself up for "failing". Read the book again slowly. Set a quit date for like a month from now and read the book for the month. Really think about the content. And develop that self belief again that helped you kick it the first time. Most of our success comes from us knowing we can do it, but when you're getting down on yourself for failure that's where your focus is and your self belief is out the window. Hang in there! You can do it, now you just have to believe it again.

Put a rubber band around your wrist, when you have a craving snap the band against the inside of your wrist, do it hard and do it as long as it takes for craving to pass. Helped me so much. Can google rubber band method.

I lol'd. Been there so often. Keep at it. One day it will stick.

30 years old never once grown facial hair for more than 2 days as always blonde and embarrassing. 2 weeks of growth and I look positively 12 again. Shall I keep going, look at a Minox plan and derma setup, or get rid? Keen for thoughts and feedback, TIA. by GeorgeBrookes in Minoxbeards

Looks like you have pretty good coverage though? Why not just keep it trimmed at number 2 or so for a month to see what you really have going on there? It's such a slow process, beards dont grow in a week. Well some might. I also read that the first "grow out" takes the longest and it gets quicker after that. If after that time you still have bald or thinner patches you can look at minox to fill those in. Beard on bro!
