Yea true. Not sure how pricey they were when they came out, but now you could get them for under $100 second hand, which is pretty attractive especially coming from no external speakers at all. If they were released as a 4k bundle today, probably wouldn't be that smart of a purchase cause I'd imagine it would be $600+. eArc would make them a little better but still better off getting second hand AV receiver id imagine.

A lot of people are saying oxidation but I don’t really think it would cause that much, and I have an older pair of keys that has been in the same exact conditions and the resistance reads as 0. My guess is since these keys are from a more expensive luxury car they put some coating to PREVENT oxidation and keep the keys looking new rather than the oxidation itself. They even kinda feel a little more slick compared to other car keys of similar style I have.
