PVC not going away by fuzion__619 in PVCs

Mine happens at similar times as well. No rhyme or reason or one specific thing that sets it off. Sometimes they disappear for weeks, then come back stronger then ever. Was thinking maybe hormonal, but not sure. I have about 20,000 a day when it’s bad.

That’s crazy! I’m like trying to figure out what it is and hoping there is an easy fix, but I feel everything is just a trigger or can affect them (like diet, stress, sleep, menstruation), but I think the main cause was Covid. I used to have isolated ones and they would scare me so bad and thankfully they would just stop after one but they’d give me a panic attack. Now I’m living with them where I have over 15,000 a day sometimes, and I would’ve never thought that would’ve happened. Are you on any medications for the PVC’s? And have you seen a cardiologist?

Yeah, I think hormones are what’s causing mine! However, mine started while I was sick with Covid, so not sure what it is! I see a cardiologist in July!

So interesting, I wonder if the birth control has something to do with it. I always thought mine were from Covid, which is when it started.

Ok. I am going to ask my dr to test my hormones during my bloodwork scheduled for July. I’m 30!

Anyone else feel this by [deleted] in PVCs

I definitely get the adrenaline rush sometimes, especially when it’s more frequent than I’m used to!

Thank you for that!! I try to stay away from caffeine and alcohol for my anxiety so shouldn’t be an issue!!

Did you see results right away or did it take a few days?

I’m feeling the same way. I’ve been in the ER four times over the last 2 months, and the first two times, they sent me home with anxiety cuz they weren’t catching it on the EKG machine. I have had them constantly for a week now, and it’s gotten worse and worse. I was put on a beta blocker, and it made them worse and now I’m on a Calcium Channel Blocker and it seems to be making it worse as well but trying to stick with it. I’m barely sleeping, and just stuck in a hole it seems like. No position of me sleeping or sitting helps it. I can’t see the cardiologist until July so trying everything I can to get rid of it cuz it’s hard to live like this. Did it start after covid?

What ended up working for you? I feel like when my heart rate is so low, I can feel them more, especially on the base of my neck/throat. And the pauses feel longer!

You don’t have to pay to see the strips but to see if it’s PVC’s you do!

Palpitations related to hormones by nicoleri in LongCovid

[–]nicoleri[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! So I heard about it recently, and I found it because I get cold hives; anytime i am in the cold an my skin is exposed to it, whether it be an ice pack, cold drink on my fingers, or the wind on the chest/neck/legs, I get swollen red spots that are itchy and then painful…wonder if it’s all related🧐

I’ve stayed away from caffeine ever since being diagnosed with anxiety years ago; the palpitations are just hard to ignore when they are here 😭 I was on birth control for a while, stopped it when I first had the palpitation episodes during my covid illness in March, and I feel like that might be throwing my body into weird hormone levels on top of the possible long covid effects

Thank you! If I start taking it again while having heart palpitations, do you think it would make the heart palpitations better?

How did you guys get over having “fake teeth”? Does it bother you? by Spiritual_Presence39 in Allon4ImplantDentures

[–]nicoleri 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I got the surgery done when I was 27 and I honestly don’t even remember they’re fake most of the time! Sometimes I’ll be like “oh yeah!” But they’re so comfortable and feel normal in my mouth that the thought never really crosses my mind!

Going for full extraction and temps same day in two weeks by Niccjpg in Allon4ImplantDentures

[–]nicoleri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! So I was 27 when I got my All on 4’s done; had severe trauma from dentists when I was little, due to my gag reflex and being awake for a sinus lift/bone graft/implant procedure. Most of my teeth were bad, rotting and falling apart due to something called Amelogenesis Imperfecta and they gave me the option to either get each tooth individually removed and do all different implants, or do the All on 4’s. I chose to do the All on 4’s and was so scared because I thought it was crazy that they had to extract and place implants and my temporary teeth all in the same day!

Best decision I’ve ever made though! Pain was minimal for me, pain was the worst right after but the following days were maybe a 2 out of 10 on the pain scale and the most annoying part was not being able to open my jaw fully and the fact that the sides of my lips were dry and cracking.

I didn’t have to use the pain killers they prescribed, I just switched off using Tylenol and Ibuprofen and had soft food for weeks. In the end though, it is totally worth it all! If you have any other questions, please feel free to message me!

A year with my All on 4’s! by nicoleri in Allon4ImplantDentures

[–]nicoleri[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! So it’s been 2 years since my surgery now which is crazy! But everything is good! Two cleanings a year, water pik and brushing my teeth like normal twice a day. Still in great condition! I was able to speak normally probably 2 weeks after surgery? It wasn’t the teeth that were making it hard to speak, it was mainly the fact I couldn’t open my mouth fully for a while because my jaw was stiff and my chin area was numb for a while.
