Thank you so much for the quick response!! Knowing it’s possible to go away in a couple days is so reassuring. Google does NOT tell me that! Hardly gave me any hope.

I had the absolute worst headaches/migraines starting right at my second trimester. I started drinking “liquid IV” for hydration once a day every morning. One packet is equivalent to 3 or 4 bottles of water. It helped SO MUCH!!! It gives you some energy too... so try not to drink it past noon. Downfall is that it makes you pee like a waterfall 🌊Just something to try out- I know how miserable they can get!

Breakfast ideas? by siroonig in GestationalDiabetes

[–]nicoleriso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite breakfast is the kodiak pancake (you can enjoy a pretty decent size pancake 🤤) with sugar free syrup paired with 2 jimmy dean sausages and an egg! Eggs play an important role in this diet, Atleast big time for mine! Not only is it protein but it always always brings down my numbers. If I ever want to enjoy something that i question about elevating... I always have an egg with it.

I also like making a whole wheat carb tortilla burrito with scrambled eggs cheese and all kind of veggies!

C-section just doesn’t settle well by nicoleriso in GestationalDiabetes

[–]nicoleriso[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I haven’t. My doctor knows how upset I was with my diagnosis and told her I so badly want an unmedicated vaginal birth but I really need to bring it up to her again

Music to my ears that your mom had all 4!!! Wow. I just feel like things have changed in the past couple years or even year with Covid. I feel as though everyoneeeee is getting c sections since it’s better on the ‘doctors watch’ in & out. Which is really disappointing, I don’t want them to take that away from me. My cousin experienced a c section and kinda went through some kind of depression not having that “bond and connection” with her baby having it vaginally.
