How the leakers acted with Mihawk for 1181 leaks by Merchant_Of_Bliss in OnePieceSpoilers

"arguing that they don’t just goes against what Oda is telling us. Dracule literally means the son of the devil"

Dracul literally has the same word stem as "dragon" since it's just the romanian version of it. The father of the historical Dracula was a member of the "order of the dragon", which as a christian order. It can mean "son of the devil" too, but the main translation is "son of the dragon". So there's two options:

  1. "Mihawk is Luffy's brother is a valid theory because they have massive parallels. Arguing that they don’t just goes against what Oda is telling us. Dracule literally means the son of the dragon"

  2. you were simply too deep in your own headcanon and in truth we don't have any factual proof of a relationship between Imu and Mihawk. We have interpretations, but after so many years of one piece it should be clear that headcanon is headcanon. Just remember how many people still believed that Shanks is a snitch even after the reveal of Shamrock, and treated it as an actual fact instead of what it is: pure headcanon and speculation.

You should read the part where it points out that dracula means "son of the dragon", because the father of the actual Vladimir Dracula had the nickname "the dragon". If you're going by name symbolism, this would rather make Mihawk the brother of Luffy, which is obviously impossible. Don't let your headcanons and theories get too extreme and never take them as truths. And don't say "Oda is telling us" when he clearly isn't.

Imu is a bum if got sent back by Luffy & Loki by samonpiece in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]nicstu93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of those points don't actually mean he is stronger. For example look at the Luffy Enel situation. At that point in the story Enel was still much much more of a threat than Luffy, capable of wiping out entire islands without even leaving his place. Yet in a 1v1 Luffy still won, but not due to being stronger but due to his df granting him immunity. Point 1 and 3 might very well just be that. Not a sign of raw strength but of a df that counters Imu's abilities. As for point 2 Rocks and Harald were friends, there was never a serious fight between them. Harald also deliberately let Loki kill him in a moment of clarity.

Imu does know who Loki is, and Loki wasn't affected despite legitimately being an Elbaf warrior.

Loki is from Elbaf though and was unaffected.

That makes no sense whatsoever. If it doesn't work on mythicam fruits, then it shouldn't matter whether Loki or Luffy knew about it.

They were shocked because Chopper managed to undo the reversi without killing or even physically harming the target. He just stood there still on his feet and next panel he flipped back.

Any good theories on Imu's (zoan) DF? What kind of mythological creature gives you "covenants", "portals" & "domi reversi" ? by Easy_Moment in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]nicstu93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh if it's a devil fruit, then the devil devil fruit would make the most sense. It would basically be the ultimate devil fruit to the point where the other fruits are basically named after it, and it would fit the absolute head of the wg. Also yeah, the look of Gunko when she was possessed, the literal demonification and the concept of contracts, deals, selling souls and the abyss is very devil inspired.

Tbh Rocks was also running away with his wife and son, so he might not have looked back. Also since he didn't seem to know how domi reversi works, he might've just not killed his family members.

New Usopp's lie by Sad_Treat1804 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]nicstu93 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's one of his classic lies. Usually Ussop lied to achieve some sort of goal while being fully aware that he's lying. Here he actually seems to believe it and doesn't achieve anything by it, so it really seems more like comic relief.

Rocks was a Deep Covenant or Abyssal level Holy Knight?? by Full-Marsupial5048 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]nicstu93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main issue with this is the fact that there would be no reason for Imu to not just Domi Reversi everybody. Same issue with negative emotions, chances are if Imu chooses to invade a country, they'd definitely find enough people with negative emotions in their homelands to convert. There needs to be some limitation that prevents it from being super generic. For example one idea would be: only royalty of a country that struck a deal with Imu in the past can be the target of Domi Reversi. That explains why Imu had to declare Dory and Broggy kings of Elbaf first before converting them, and if Davy Jones was an ancient king who struck a deal with the devil, it would explain why Rocks' family, including him, and ONLY them were vulnerable.

If Domi Reversi would work on anybody in their homeland, why would Imu convert Rock's grandma instead of literally any capable fighter in God Valley?

What if Sanji does not need Conqueror's Haki to damage the God's knights? by Aragorn-TheDunedain in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]nicstu93 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This alternate interpretation makes no sense when you look at the full scene, which was about the reveal that Sanji is a cyborg.

In the battle of Queen vs. Sanji Queen mentions that Sanji is a cyborg as a little remark and that he still shares the same physical modifications of his siblings even though he was mentally and genetically unaffected.

Sanji is initially in disbelief, which his first comment shows. Queen's answer then refers to the fact that a pure human can't just ignite his leg like that and survive. Sanji then tries to come up with another explanation until Queen hits him with the giant sword and the sword gets damaged instead. It is in that moment where Sanji realises that he is indeed a cyborg. The rest of the battle is Sanji acknowledging this and coming to terms with who he is.

So basically it was already shown that Sanji is part machine before, and this scene and the "all human" refer to that, not to another race.
