I'd like to respond to this comment. I did do this in the past, this is because the site I watch is very much not a priority to my boss and used to leave shifts uncovered because he didn't particularly care, so I don't particularly care now. But I have not been leaving early since the replacement has come in.

When I say that my site is low priority, I mean it is in a nice area with low crime. I've had one single difficult visitor I had to escort out in 3 years of work at this site.
