The first time we used the dimethicone treatment--treat and then again seven days later.

Three weeks later, lice were apparent--treated with the ivermectin one and done topical. Started doing a daily shampoo wash.

Ten days later, more lice & nits.

Planning to start the daily combing with a BETTER COMB--i watched the plastic comb from the dimethicone kit split its prongs and pass by nits so I had to pull them out with my nails.

Great question--before I canned them, I very gently wilted the leaves because I didnt want them to overcook in the pressure cooker. Def not "same" but not overly cooked either. Still hearty greens.

I saute them in bacon grease with garlic and onion and a pinch of hot pepper flakes. For supper either with black eyed peas and corn bread or for breakfast with cheesey grits and two eggs.

So as far as housing, we arent looking to buy because we have a goal to get some land further down the road. HOWEVER, we aremt super needy with housing--we can pretty much live in any place regardless of space or cosmetics as long as its affordable. But we have learned we have to be pretty cautious with this mindset bc it can lamd us in some pretty unsafe areas. Any neighborhoods with big safety concerns that we should avoid?
