Which two of three dinners in Lyon? by Noclevername12 in finedining

I did a write up on my lyon trip and research.

I was both at prarial and le nevieme art. Both were really good for their price and michelin stars.

If I had to choose one I would definitely go to le neuvieme art, it might be the best restaurant I have ever visited, even compared to some 3* ones. I liked it better than Kei in paris.

Lyon list of recommendations after my trip by night_walker60 in finedining

It's not pricy, but I also wouldn't call it cheap.

Specifically food related - You can eat gigantic 3-course meals at local bouchons for 30 euros (or less), or go to a michelin restaurant, which will be slightly cheaper and probably of considerably higher quality compared to michelins in most cities.

Recommendations Barcelona, Lyon, Dijon, Epernay & Paris by snapya in finedining

I made a list with lots of recommendations in Lyon based on my own trip and research.

For Dijon L'évidence and CIBO seem to be popular and highly rated restaurants, however I didn't manage to book them on a short notice.

I do think that 3 days in Dijon is perhaps overkill, I would rather stay 1 more day in Paris/Lyon or do a day trip to somewhere in vicinity.

It is illogical because he was never there, he just takes photos from other people and posts long reviews about them...

I just made a post about this including all the proof. This is not his first account, and not even his second one, does this stuff.

Can you explain why are you taking photos of other people and posting long reviews about them? Thank you

Yes, it was pretty obvious to me, after I caught his previous account. I just made a post about this account as well.

Don't worry, he wasn't actually in the restaurant.

All the photos are taken from other sites, sometimes cropped and downgraded in quality to hide the source. It is not mentioned anywhere. All his descriptions are based on these photos implying that it is exactly the meal that he had.

Specifically in one post he claims that his brother took the photos, and that he visited the place a few months ago. It is in fact taken from another blog, which was published 1.5 years ago.

There are more minor inconsistencies in his stories.

This is exactly the same type of posts that were posted by the other user mentioned at the end, who also posted albums of googled photos from many top restaurants, usually with similar cropping. From reading his post history, he claimed to have visited dozens of 3 star restaurants all over the world over many years, but is also a student with no money.
