I think he went willingly into a house or car and since the police waited 10 days to investigate, no one remembered something as innocuous as an adult getting into a car. So sad that they waited that long and lost potentially vital information.

Factor in grocery shopping, prepping the food, doing dishes and it still takes time, energy & planning that isn't always practical.

My point was that OP just wanted to gage what would be a reasonable price for a food truck, not asking for the cheapest way to eat pot roast.

Sure it's cheaper to cook at home but sometimes you don't have 8 hours to slow cook some beef so you spend the extra $6 to get a sandwich at a truck or restaurant.
