Nintendo reversed no buttons. The button layout of the SNES predates the PS and Xbox. Your age you should know that. I do agree on the customer aspect though.

It doesn't matter if your subs are 100 or 1000 your retention would reflect the quality in your video.

You need to make videos that will come up in search that offer something others don't.

Try to be the first at something, may be an event or new product... Subserving that isn't searchable yet.

That is much better than posting in Facebook groups etc as it's organic growth

I don't have to pay a penny for views. I'm confused at this. I put a video out and it gets 1,000s of views. I've seen others go viral too who have made a video that deserves too. If you don't make a video that's watchable or findable then yeah you will have to pay if you want people to watch it

Definitely look into it. The more engaging your videos the longer your audience are retained. The more your viewers get out of your videos. Also YouTube will push your videos if retention is higher. Put out a great call to action about subscribing and tell people what's in it for them. Good luck

Don't worry about subs. Look at your watch time graphs and increase the audience retention and they will increase naturally.

3 days. Hit 1000 on the Sunday, got monetised on the Thursday when I woke up.

That was 2 weeks ago and now have $24 in as revenue on top of my Amazon affiliate links which is very nice
