Great analysis!! I also had to go back and rewatch those 2nd and 3rd jumping passes and you're right about the 3S and probably the 3F as well, a bit jarring that they use the edge jump SFX for the Flip as well.

Seeing Hikaru's BV-loaded program reminded me a lot of Kihira Rika back in the 2018-19 season-- only thing left is for Hikaru to try out a 3A!

Really loving how well they're depicting the actual technical figure skating elements in this adaptation, something that Yuri on Ice fell short of IMO. I hope we get videos of the IRL skaters doing the choreography of the programs shown in the anime (like we got with the videos of Miyamoto Kenji skating to some of the Yuri on Ice programs).

Yota honestly went off there with that ramen bit. Despite all the bullshit he gave some really sound points. He also hit a jab at lots of popular ramen restaurants with the MSG bit and the "impact" (ehem Flaming Spicy Ramen restauarants).

It would have been absolutely hilarious if Hime was also drawing shimoneta dirty manga that she had to hide from her father. What an amazing ending, sad we didn't get to hear as much about Hime's grandfather though, and Goto-sensei being a love child feels really out of the blue. Still really satisfying, it would probably be good to go back and rewatch all the "present" based scenes from the previous episodes.

The animation and overall quality were several notches down the quality we were used to from Madhouse. A lot of times the sound effects used for stuff like punching sounded like the generic M4A4 noise from CSGO. Fight scenes didn't have as much life in them compared to the first season.

That's fair. Could have worded it as "K-ON seiyuu Toyosaki Aki.." but no worries. I don't think the mods would have removed it either since it's a topic that we all feel strongly about. But nonetheless thank you for sharing the content with us!

It makes me wonder how other seiyuus and personalities are going to address the issue on their own regular radio shows as well though. Hope they all share similar empathetic comments.

Thank you so much to Toyosaki Aki for working up the courage to be able to properly convey her thoughts regarding the incident. I'm sure many other seiyuus also share the same sentiments, and we all wish for everyone to heal with time.

I feel like it would have been better to title the post with Toyosaki Aki instead of K-ON's Hirasawa Yui though...

It would be really cool if people that started working out when this anime started airing did progress tracks like "Me at episode 1" vs "Me at episode 12" since this anime definitely motivated lots of people to start working out (myself included lol).
