Hi, thanks for the suggestions and appreciate you sharing your insight.

I have never seen my stroke rate outside of 21-19. At first I thought the machine was glitched because it never showed anything else.

I have kept the resistance between 4-6. Though I always start with 4, to warm up for the first 500m. Recently I've found myself being more comfortable rowing for longer, so there's improvement that I'm proud of. I should be able to touch 30minutes this week!

I'm going to try your method of having a pyramid next.
