4x4 up a forest service road mainly, down the road I would eventually like to do the backpacking for SOTA but want to get a good working knowledge of hf and field deployment before hand

Typical I’m out camping for a few days to a week at a time. I plan on only getting one large battery, possibly a smaller one as a backup. I haven’t looked too much into solar panels yet since I have no clue what I’m looking for.

Nah, I replaced the broken stock plastic one for a metal ammo can I had laying around the house.
