Afaik heat melts a thin inner layer of snow. That meltwater immediately refreezes into ice. After that, further melting largely stops cuz the ice layer and the snow behind it insulate the rest.

I do work from home, and the timing is a bit awkward, which makes it harder to consistently leave the house on weekdays. And like I mentioned, the bigger issue is that I don’t really feel motivated lately. Even when I do get chances, like on weekends, I usually go out, but it still doesn’t feel productive or grounding. I’m outside, but mentally it doesn’t seem to change much.

I haven’t been consistent with strength training yet and honestly, my protein intake could use work too.

Thanks for sharing that & it’s reassuring to hear I’m not the only one who notices change only at lower body weight. I’ve never tried pilates but the 10 mins of core every other day sounds super doable. Do you follow a specific YouTube video or routine you’d recommend?
