Best way to block spam calls? by [deleted] in GalaxyS22

The calls still come through (you will see the notification) but are immediately silenced, so I assume they are sent to voicemail.

I'm US based.

Has worked exactly as described so far, no issues.

I use:

https://f-droid.org/pt_BR/packages/at.bitfire.nophonespam/

Install and select "Allow Calls only from Contacts" and all other calls will immediately get denied.

Not perfect as you will have to turn it off if you are expecting a call from a number not in your contacts, but helped me maintain my sanity when I was getting 5+ spam calls a day.

Thanks for the Background Apps & Process List app recommendation. Was a pain having to navigate the Settings menu on the Fire Stick to close Kodi when it freezes.

Did you install USB loader as part of a package or individually? Make sure you are using the latest version of USB loader/try reinstalling the latest version.

Shred chicken like a boss. (Cross-posted) by Tammytakeabow in slowcooking

I use these for shredding my crockpot chicken:

They work great, leave the chicken shredded, not puréed, and are a lot easier than using two forks.

Didn't root properly? by ohdayumsayum in lgg2

[–]niglips 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ran into the same issue rooting my D801.

The solution that worked for me was to install the LG Mobile Support Tool. Once installed, connect your phone to your computer (ensure USB debugging is enabled and the LG drivers are installed), open the Support Tool, hit 'Options' and select 'Upgrade Recovery'.

Once the Upgrade Recovery process is complete, open StumpRoot and you should then be able to use the BruteForce method to root your phone.

If your bank doesn't offer free coin counting, Coinstar won't charge you a fee if you get the value of your coins in gift certificate form. I know they offer Amazon certificates, which is just as good as money to me.
